Who We Are

Hamot Health Foundation and UPMC Hamot receive input from about 300 distinguished individuals in Erie who are chosen to serve on HHF’s Board of Corporators.

Corporators serve as our eyes and ears in the community, helping to elect our board members and being involved in decisions that strategically impact their community’s health and vitality.

What Corporators Do

Champion

Corporators understand the strengths of Hamot Health Foundation and UPMC Hamot and share the story of our exceptional impact across the community.

Invite

We ask corporators to leverage their influence to engage others in our mission, creating opportunities for a healthier community while continuously elevating patient care at UPMC Hamot.

Invest

Philanthropy fuels progress. Corporators lead by example, supporting life-changing initiatives through gifts of any size and experiencing the power their giving creates.

The Corporator Project

The Street Outreach initiative brings health care, vital resources, and personalized guidance to vulnerable neighbors. Led by a registered nurse and community health workers, this team reaches neighbors where they are at. This is a no-barriers approach to caring for our community members, which is the driving force behind the program. Philanthropy makes it possible.

Staying Informed and Engaged

Corporators are invited to attend the UPMC Hamot Annual Business Meeting and our Leadership Breakfasts throughout the year. These gatherings offer key updates on projects and initiatives, along with opportunities to ask questions, share ideas, and help shape what comes next.
