Through strong partnerships between providers and stakeholders, UPMC Hamot has developed nationally recognized Centers of Excellence that elevate specialty care to the highest standards right here in our community. Areas such as breast health, bariatric surgery, comprehensive stroke care, robotic bronchoscopy, and neurointerventional surgery have earned distinguished accreditations.
Philanthropy plays a vital role in establishing and sustaining these centers. Notable examples made possible by generous benefactors include the John E. Britton Family Trauma Center, the Leslie Cardiac Diagnostic Center, the William and Suzanne Conner Lobby, Victor Atrium, and the Lincoln Education Center.
